Ludlow Mayor’s sponsored charity swim
On the 3rd of March, we were scheduled to take part in the Ludlow Mayor’s Charity Sponsored Swim, but unfortunately the snow stopped us in our tracks and we had to rearrange.
This week our team of 6 got together to rise to the challenge of swimming 120 lengths in a relay over an hour.
With some star swimmers in the mix we not only met our target of 120 lengths – we exceeded it before the hour was up and even swam an extra 58, bringing our total lengths to 178!
We are in the very privileged position to have been selected as the Ludlow Mayor’s ‘charity of the year’, and proceeds raised from this event will go towards supporting our charity’s office base in Ludlow.
